Zenon Dawidowicz

Zenon E. Dawidowicz, 78 of Bayonne, N.J., passed away on Wednesday May, 4 2005, at the Bayonne Medical Center. He was born in Herkimer, and lived most of his life in Bayonne N.J. He was married to former Sharon A. Fordi. Mr. Dawidowicz was a World War II Navy veteran and was a member of the Seabees. Zenon was a optician and audiologist and owned his own optical business in Bayonne, N.J. Survivors include his wife, Sharon; two sons, Zenon and Joseph Dawidowicz; two daughters, Christine DeStefano and Alicia Miselis; two brothers, Edwin and Walter Dawidowicz; three sisters, Leocadia Serban, Helen Balderston and Stella Roe; and eight grandchildren, Austin, Nicole, Evan, Gregory, Sarah, Blaise, Matthew and Ethan. Funeral services were held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bayonne, N.J. Entombment took place at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, New Jersey. Donations in Xenon's memory may be made to Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, P.O. Box 27106, New York, N.Y. 10087-7106. The family was assisted locally by the Holleran & Enea Family Funeral Home.
