Mr. William F. "Billy" Pindar, a Dolgeville native, and most recently residing in Herkimer entered into eternal rest on Thursday, November 27, 2003. He was born on November 15, 1930 in Dolgeville, a son of the late Oscar W. and Freda (Belcher) Pindar and was educated in Dolgeville schools. He was united in marriage to Santa Giangregorio. Billy proudly served his country with the United States Army. He was last employed with Murray Walter's Construction Company and was of the Methodist Faith. Ronny enjoyed membership with the Little Falls American Legion Post #31. In his leisure time he enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an extrodinary cook. Survivors include his daughter, Donna Young-Edick and husband Billy of Little Falls, a close brother, Oscar Pindar of Herkimer, a step-sister, Pam Heafey of Utica, a granddaughter, Stephanie Young, two grandsons, Christopher Young and Nicholas Edick and three nephews. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Roberts-Buck Funeral Home, 3 Faville Ave., Dolgeville on Saturday, November 29, 2003 from 9-11 am. Billy's funeral will commence at 11 am on Sat. morning, from the Roberts-Buck Funeral Home, Dolgeville, with the Rev. Wrightson Tongue, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, Little Falls/Herkimer, officiating. Procession will follow to Stratford Cemetery, where Billy will be laid to rest.
