William Girmonde

William (Billy) J. Girmonde, 64, a lifetime Little Falls resident died on Wednesday March 7, 2007 at Little Falls Hospital after a long illness. He was born January 5, 1943, the son of the late Rosie & Mary (Rich) Girmonde. He was predeceased by one brother, D. Rosario (Skippy) Girmonde. For over 30years, Billy was a longtime area florist, taking over Rosie?s Flowers from his father in 1974, after his death. Billy was very creative, and spent his leisure time working on his classic cars. He was a great lover of animals and always had them in his life. He was a long time member of Little Falls Elks Lodge #42. He is survived by three daughters, Rose Marie Jordan and husband Tom, Belinda Girmonde and Brook Girmonde and his beloved sister, Mary (Snooky) Darman and husband Stephen, two grandsons, Thomas & Patrick Jordan; one niece, Mary (Punker) Grabinski; two nephews, Gary Grabinski and wife Susan and William Grabinski and wife Amy, as well as several great nieces, great nephews and cousins. There will be a memorial service for Billy?s family and friends on Saturday March 10, 2007 at 11:00 am at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls, NY. Interment will be held in the spring. Members of the Little Falls Elks lodge are asked to meet at the funeral home Saturday morning at 10:45 am for services.
