Wendelyn Joy Tallman

LITTLE FALLS - Wendelyn Joy Tallman, of Little Falls, NY, passed away in her home, on Friday, August 9, 2024, at the age of 81, with her two daughters by her side. Wendy Bug was the middle child of five, born to Wendell and Flossie Cool, of Salisbury Center, NY.

Wendy is predeceased by her loving companion and partner of over 45 years, Sam Sterusky; her parents; and her sisters, Barbara Smith and Betty Leonard.

She is survived by a brother, Greg and Linda Cool of Minot, ND; her daughters, Denise (Tallman) and Carmen Salvatore, of Barneveld, NY and Lorraine (Tallman) and Mike Matheny, of West Chester, PA; her grand-daughter, Brittany (Salvatore) and William Faram, of Whitesboro, NY; her grandson, Tyler Matheny, of Philadelphia, PA; her grand-daughter, Sara (Matheny) and David Sweeney, of Pittsburgh, PA; as well as many loved nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Route 5, Herkimer, on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Joseph’s Church in Dolgeville, in Wendy Tallman’s name.
