FORT PLAIN - Mr. Wayne B. King, age 81, of 32 Division Street, Fort Plain, NY, passed away peacefully on Monday morning, May 4, 2015 at the St. Johnsville Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
Wayne was born on August 22, 1933 in Pennsylvania. His marriage to Rita Swank took place on February 20, 1972. Wayne was of the Catholic Faith, and at one time worked on the Nellis Farm.
Wayne is survived by his loving wife Rita of 43 years. His children John W. King and Elvis P. King. He also leaves behind John Swank of Burlington Flatts, Earl Swank of Ft. Plain, Ed & Judy Aker of Ft. Plain, and Ruby Craver of Ft. Plain. Wayne also leaves a special friend Manley Baker of Ft. Plain, several cousins, Nieces and Nephews.
Wayne is predeceased by his In- Law Barb Stowell of Canajoharie, and his daughter in-law Betty of St. Johnsville.
Calling hours for Wayne will take place on Friday May 8, from 6-8pm at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 9 Center Street, St. Johnsville, NY. His funeral will commence on Saturday Morning May 9th at 11am from the funeral home with Rev. Rodney P. Rickard offering prayers. Procession will then follow to St. Johnsville Cemetery where he will be laid to rest.
