Walter Harry Wagner

ST. JOHNSVILLE - Walter H. Wagner Sr., age 82, passed away in his home in Oxford FL on June 10, 2014. Born in Little Falls, NY on November 6, 1931 Walter was the son of the late Paul H Wagner and Anna (Haug) Wagner. Walters's mother died at an early age, his father, Paul was remarried to his step-mother the late Emma Ortleib. Walter spent most of his life in upstate New York. Father - farmer - cattle dealer - and auctioneer. He owned and operated Wagner Cattle Sales in Central Bridge for many years with Viola Horan. After he retired he moved to Oxford, FL where he had a lucrative tool business with long time friend, Evelyn Rinehart. Walter is survived by his children Pauline Hrycenko of Esperance, NY, Walter and Shantal Wagner Jr. of Jensen Beach, FL and several nieces nephews grandchildren and great grand children. Viewing hours will be held Tuesday June 17, 2014 5-7pm at Enea Family Funeral Home 9 Center St. St Johnsville NY and funeral will commence on Wednesday morning at 10am, with Pastor Nancy Ryan officiating. A luncheon, celebrating the life of Walter Wagner will follow the funeral at South Minden Fire Department 1029 State Hwy 163 Ft. Plain NY 13339.
