Walter R. Mccaw, Sr.

MOHAWK - The Enea Family Funeral Home, 220 North Washington Street in Herkimer, NY, is assisting the family of Walter R. McCaw, Sr., who has passed away on November 11, 2015 at his home. He was surrounded with his loving family. Funeral Directors Harry J. & Kevin E. Enea (315) 866-1011. In keeping with his wishes there will be No formal services or calling hours.

He was born on August 25, 1934 in Little Falls, NY a son to the late George and Helen (Lowell) McCaw. He attended Mohawk schools. He served our country with the United States Army, 1961 until 1963. His marriage to the former Dale M. Young took place December 19, 1956 in North Columbia. For most of his life Walter owned his own body shop at his home in German Flatts. He was last employed with Frankfort Valley Auto.

He is survived by his wife, Dale; children, daughters, Deborah Spencer and her husband Larry of Ilion, Tammy Brown of Mohawk, and Donna Brown and her husband Michael of Mohawk, several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his infant son Joseph McCaw and his son Walter Richard McCaw, Jr.
