Little Falls – Mr. Walter West Jr., 79, of Lovers Leap Road, Little Falls, passed away in the comfort of his home on Friday November 20, 2015. Walter was born on November 29, 1935 in Boston Ma to the late Walter I. and Mary J. (Ahmed) West. After graduating high school Walter proudly served his county with the United States Air Force as 2nd class Airman as an Aviation Radar Technician from June 1955 until September 1959 when he was Honorable Discharged.
Walter was an avid member of AA. In his free time Walter loved going to auctions and flea markets around the area. When Walter was not at the auctions or flea markets, he could be found taking care of all people. His generosity was overwhelming. He also enjoyed telling great stories and jokes that made you think. One of the most important lessons that he taught his children was how to forgive.
Walter is predeceased by his sister Marie Holcomb and his daughter Deborah Ann West. He is survived by his children Lynda Marie West of Oregon, Susan Zandonella of Nevada, and his son Walter I. West III of Oregon.
Walter’s funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Harry J. & Kevin E. Enea, and John P. Lewandowski of the Enea Family Funeral Home 24 W. Monroe Street Little Falls (315) 823-2424. In Keeping with Walter’s wishes there are NO calling hours, and Burial will take place at a date to be determined.
