Virginia Macrina

HERKIMER-Virginia M. (Hall) Macrina, 85, a of Second Ave., Herkimer, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, May 4, 2007 in Folts Homes, Herkimer. She was born in Herkimer on September 1, 1921, daughter of the late Bernard and Hazel (Baulch) Hall and was educated in Herkimer schools. In 1939, she was joined in marriage with Francis J. Macrina. He passed away on March 9, 2002. Mrs. Macrina was last employed as a nurses aide in Herkimer Hospital. She was of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include her sons: Francis P. Macrina and wife Donna of Frankfort, Donald C. Macrina and wife Jennifer of Jordanville, and Robert E. Macrina and wife Karen of Little Falls; ten grandchildren: Donald, Ann, Jill, Eric, Kathleen, Bethany, Melissa, Joseph, Matthew and Kevin; eight great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service will take place at the convenience of the family with the Rev. Patti Lawrence, of the First Baptist Church, Herkimer, officiating. She will be laid to rest with her husband in Calvary Cemetery, Herkimer. Arrangements are entrusted to the Holleran & Enea Family Funeral Home, 220 N. Washington St., Herkimer.
