Vicky Lynn Sterusky, 41 of 173 Park Road, (Town of Oppenheim) passed away on Sunday April 10, 2005 as a result of an automobile accident. She was born August 28, 1963 in Little Falls the daughter of Jeannette (Manchester) Alkinburgh and the late LeRoy N. ?Mike? Alkinburgh who passed away on June 29, 1992. Vicky was a graduate of Oppenheim ? Ephratah High School. Her marriage to David John Sterusky took place on February 28, 1981. Mrs. Sterusky was employed at the Dolgeville Big M for 20 years, where she was the Produce Manager. Vicky was of the Methodist Faith. Survivors include her mother Jeannette, her husband David, her maternal grandmother, Azubah Manchester of Gloversville, a son, David John Sterusky, Jr. of Dolgeville, a sister, Teresa Marie Griffin of Gloversville, in-laws, Ralph Sterusky and wife Sarah ?Sally? of Little Falls, & Irene Dietrich of Dolgeville, brothers-in-law, Christopher Sterusky and wife Brenda of Kansas, & Ralph B. Sterusky of Dolgeville, sisters-in-law, Leslie Lyon of North Carolina, Paula Kramer of Grand Island, NY & Lora Rehm and husband Paul of North Carolina, step-brothers-in-law; Andy Siver of Maine, & Perry Siver and wife Darlene of Norway, NY and a step-sister-in-law; Melanie Haak and friend Larry Staring of Stratford, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Monday April 18, 2005 at 11:00 am from the Roberts & Enea Family Funeral Home, 3 Faville Ave., Dolgeville, NY, with Reverend Larry Alkinburgh officiating. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home on Sunday April 17, 2005 from 5-8 pm. Burial will be in Brown Cemetery, Town of Oppenheim. In Lieu of flowers please make all memorial contributions to the Hilltop Volunteer Fire Department or to Brown Cemetery. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
