ILION ? Thomas R. Smith, age 72, formerly of Ilion, passed away on March 26, 2011, in San Francisco, CA.
He is survived by two sons, Thomas and Christopher; his sister, Mary Ann Skardinski and her husband, William; two nieces, Mary Beth Elliot and her husband, Perry, and Kathleen McHale and her husband, Michael; and one nephew, Andrew Skardinski.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Monday, May 2, 2011, at the Church of the Annunciation, West St., Ilion, where a Memorial Mass will be celebrated by Father Anthony Barratt, Pastor, assisted by Deacon James Bower. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, North Ilion. There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made to the Church of the Annunciation, 109 West St., Ilion, NY 13357. Envelopes will also be available on Monday at the church service.
All arrangements are entrusted to the Applegate-Day & Enea Family Funeral Home, Ilion, Kevin Enea and Don Applegate, Funeral Directors.
