JORDANVILLE - Thomas Puchalski, 81, passed away Friday, October 2, 2020, at his daughter’s home in Pawling.

He was born in the Bronx, on September 22, 1939, to John and Julia (Polchinski) Puchalski. He married Patricia Tolopka on October 30, 1960 and they were married for 52 years. Thomas was a construction worker for Construction Local Union #235, in Greenberg, NY and was very proud of the buildings he helped build.

He loved to cruise with his family and spend time in the sun and on the beach, especially at his condo in Venice, FL. He always wanted to be with his family.

Thomas is survived by his daughters, Linda, Carol and Susan; his son, Robert; his brother, Martin; his sisters, Margaret and Ann; 10 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter, Abigail, who was the light of his life; and his sister-in-law, Marge.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday, October 3, 2020, from 9:45 to 10:45 AM, at the Horn & Thomes, Inc. Funeral Home, 83 East Main Street, Pawling. Masks are required and “social distancing” observed. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM at St. John’s Church, 39 East Main Street, Pawling, NY. Burial will be Monday, October 5th, 2020, at 1:30 PM, in Highland Rural Cemetery, Jordanville, NY. Father Silvaster will officiate.

The family has requested “please, no flowers” and asked that donations be made in Thomas’ memory to Hudson Valley Hospice, 374 Violet Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601.
