Thomas Millard

Thomas R. Millard, age 62, of Rome, beloved husband of Sharon (Viscusie) Millard, went home to be with the Lord on Friday morning, October 22, 2004, peacefully in his home, following a brief illness. At the time of his passing he was surrounded by his loving family. His last professional employment was with the 485th Communication Squadron of Griffiss Airforce Base in Rome. A dedicated member of the Resurrection Life Church in Rome he was very instrumental in building the church. Survivors include his beloved wife of 42 years, Sharon, of Rome, a daughter Michelle E. Millard of Milford, CT and close friend Kathleen Hilley who was like a daughter to Thomas, a son, Scott T. Millard of Cicero, two brothers, two sisters, a granddaughter, Rachael Millard and a great grandson, Stanley, many nieces, nephews, inlaws and cousins. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a celebration of Tom's life which will commence at 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 28, 2004 from Resurrection Life Church of Floyd Ave. in Rome. Memorial offerings may be made to the American Cancer Society, envelopes will be available at the church on Thursday. The Enea Family Funeral Home, Main Street between Frankfort and Ilion (894-8000) is serving the family.
