Theresa Avellino

Mrs. Theresa R. Avellino, age 75, of 4313 Woodway Street, Alexandria, Virginia, a former resident of Dolgeville, passed away on Thursday October 28, 2004 at her home. She was born on July 12, 1929 in Utica, a daughter of the late Rocco and Josephine (DeLucco) Maimone. She was a graduate of Dolgeville Central School Class of 1947. Theresa was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who has left us with beautiful memories, traditions, & life lessons that will live on in love and in her memory. Survivors include her husband of 54 years Albert R. Avellino of Alexandria, Virginia; three daughters: Pamela & husband John Carpenter of Richmond, Virginia; JoAnn and Glen Boyer of Salisbury; Ann Marie Avellino of Alexandria, Virginia; and one son: Tom Avellino and wife Kathy of Woodstock, Vermont; grandchildren: John and wife Melissa Carpenter of Richmond; Melissa Jo & Barry Lamphere of Richmond; Justin Boyer of Salisbury; Ashley Boyer of Salisbury; and Douglas Avellino of Woodstock; 3 great grandchildren: Zachary & Alexis Carpenter & Dante Lamphere all of Richmond, and many dear and close friends. She was predeceased by a son in law: Robert Putnam. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday November 1, 2004 at 11:00 AM from St. Joseph's Church, Dolgeville, with the Rev. Leo Potvin officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Dolgeville. Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours at the Enea Funeral Home, 24 West Monroe Street Little Falls on Sunday evening from 4 - 8 PM.
