Theodosia Jago

Theodosia Y. ?Theo? Jago, 89, of Burt Road, Herkimer passed away on Saturday Feb. 10, 2007 at St. Peter?s Hospice, Albany, NY. She was born May 5, 1917 in Yonkers, NY the daughter of the late Andrew & Paiza (Motyka) Yaneshak and was a graduate of Herkimer High School. Her marriage to George Jago took place on January 30, 1962 in New York City. Mr. Jago passed away in 1978. Theo was last employed at General Electric in Utica, NY. Survivors include a brother, Michael Yaneshak and wife Marian of Frankfort; a sister, Helen Maniacek of Herkimer; one niece, Susan Jones and husband Mark and their daughter and son, Whitney & Ryan of Frankfort; and a nephew, Paul Yaneshek and wife Cindy and their son Christian of Holden, Mass. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday Feb. 13, 2007 at 3:00 pm from the Holleran & Enea Family Funeral Home, 220 N. Washington St., Herkimer, with Reverend James Jadick, pastor of Sts. Peter & Paul?s Orthodox Church, East Herkimer, officiating. Spring burial will be in Sts. Peter & Paul?s Orthodox Cemetery, Town of Herkimer. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home on Tuesday Feb. 13, 2007 from 1:00 pm until the time of the services. All memorial contributions may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care, Inc. or to a charity of one?s choice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
