HERKIMER – Ms. Susan E. Oram, age 69, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 6, 2024, in the privacy and comfort of her home.

Born in Plattsburgh on August 8, 1955, Susan was the daughter of the late Rev. David B. and Violet K. “Vicky” (Black) Terns. As a child, she moved around the state quite a bit before settling in the Mohawk Valley, eventually graduating from Mohawk High School.

She is survived by her daughter, Bridget K. Williams and Alex Bowers of Oppenheim; her sister, Catherine Terns and Stan Everson of Mohawk; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Kevin Oram (Samantha Dillenbeck) and his children, Hunter and Emma, of Salisbury, Seth Guido of Mohawk, Andrew Hennings of Herkimer, Chelsea Hapeman (Mike Zimmerman) and their daughter, Grace Lynn Zimmerman of Oneonta, and Victoria Hapeman of Lowville.
