MOHAWK - Mr. Steven Charles Chrisman, age 53, of North Street in Mohawk, NY, passed away after a courageous battle on Saturday August 9, 2014 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. His passing occurred peacefully with his loving family at his side.
He was born on January 19, 1961 in Utica, NY a son of the late Harold C. Chrisman, Sr. and Carrie L. (Humphreys) Chrisman. He was also predeceased by a sister June Kulp. He attended Ilion schools. Steven last worked at Carney's Corners in Herkimer. He is survived by seven sisters and brothers, Bethanne Moss and companion John, Beverly Stanley and husband Earl, Harold Chrisman, Jr. and wife Lisa, Connie Maxon and husband Max, Robert Chrisman and wife Billi Jo, Eddie Chrisman and Fred Chrisman and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
His family has planned all funeral arrangements with The Enea Family Funeral Home, 220 North Washington Street in Herkimer, NY, under the direction of Harry & Kevin Enea, Funeral Directors (315) 866-1011. Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours at the funeral home on Thursday August 14, 2014 from 2 until 4 PM. There will be a service at the conclusion of calling hours (4 PM). Interment will take place at the convenience of the family at North Columbia Cemetery.
