Sharon B. Evans

ILION – Sharon B. Evans, age 67, of E. North St. , Ilion, formerly of Rensselaer , NY , passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 15, 2018, at Mohawk Valley Health Care Center , Ilion .

She was born on August 28, 1950, in Rensselaer , NY . Sharon was a high school graduate and attended Catholic Church.  She was involved and enjoyed the Salvation Army. Sharon also liked going to Adult Day Care and the Image Center and visiting with her friends there.

Surviving family members include her daughters, Elizabeth and Rustina; her sisters, Rita Buhl and Lois Clifford; several nieces, nephews, cousins and her close friend and care giver, Pat Allen and her family.

She was predeceased by her parents; two brothers, Walter and H. William; and one sister, Vera.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 18, 2018, at  5:00 p.m., at the Applegate-Day & Enea Family Funeral Home’s original location at 102 West St., Ilion, with Father Paul Catena, Pastor of the Church of the Annunciation, officiating.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 18, 2018, from 4:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
