Santa Rose Pindar

DOLGEVILLE - Mrs. Santa Rose Pindar, age 80, of 47 ½ North Helmer Avenue, Dolgeville, passed away on Monday, July 30, 2012, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Utica, following a brief illness. The family felt great comfort from the entire staff of the St. Elizabeth Emergency Room and from the expertise of Doctor V. Sharma.



She was born on April 18, 1932, in Italy (Bari) daughter of the late Michael and Rosetta Giangregorio. Her family immigrated to the United States at a very young age, receiving education locally. She married William Pindar who passed away in 2003. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church, Dolgeville, and enjoyed her private time at home. She dearly loved her family, and found great interest in clothing, music, and movies. Survivors include her beloved family: daughter Donna Young-Edick and husband B.J. of Little Falls; grandchildren: Stephanie Johnson and husband Jeffrey, Christopher Young, Nicholas Edick, all of Little Falls; brothers: Joseph Giangregorio, Merrick, Long Island, Anthony Giangregorio, Rockaway Beach, NY; niece and nephews: Gina DiTringo, Queens; Anthony DiTringo & wife Fran, NJ; and Michael Giangregorio and wife Allison of Merrick, LI; several great nieces, great nephews; sister in law: Pam Heafey of Utica; special close friends: Dorothy George and Neisha Diefenbacher. She was predeceased by a sister, Ann DiTringo, and a baby brother, Joseph.



Funeral graveside service will be held Thursday, August 2, 2012, at 2:00 PM in Mountain View Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Little Falls, with Father William A. Gorman, Pastor of St. Joseph's Church, Dolgeville officiating. Attending funeral supervision is under the care and concern of The Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 West Monroe Street, Little Falls.
