LITTLE FALLS-ST. JOHNSVILLE: Sandra A. LaPlace 76, a lifelong Little Falls area resident, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 8, 2016 at Little Falls Hospital.
Born on January 16, 1940 in Little Falls, Sandra was the daughter of the late Russell and Hazel (Swartz) Hardendorf. Raised and educated locally, she was a graduate of Little Falls High School. She was united in marriage to Burton LaPlace who predeceased her in 1961.
Sandra is survived her daughter, Christine Castellano and Mike Herringshaw of Little Falls; her cherished grandchildren, Randy Moltrup, Patrick Castellano, Thomas Castellano, Jr. and his wife Nicole and Natalie Richardson; and her beloved great grandchildren, Bryce, Karyn, Evelyn, Owen and Olivia.
Sandra’s wishes were to have no public calling hours. A Graveside Service will take place on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at 12:00 PM at Ft. Plain Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Harry J. and Kevin E. Enea, Funeral Directors of the Enea Family Funeral Home, 9 Center Street, St. Johnsville, NY (518) 568-2300.
