Ruth Jacksland

FORT PLAIN- Mrs. Ruth Jacksland, formerly of Fort Plain and Canajoharie, entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 19,2010 at River Ridge Living Center in Amsterdam. She was born on September 29, 1925, in Sharon Springs, daughter of the late Worthington and Lela Mae (Madison) Greene. Survivors include her sons: Richard and Michael Jacksland; her daughter Debbie Landerkin; her grandchildren : Jennifer, Aaron, Nicole, Ryan and Kelsey; her great grandchildren: Gordon, Devon, Krista, Juliana, Sven and Liliana; her sisters Margie Herringshaw and Janet Hudson and her brother Bill Dolder. She was predeceased by her husband Richard. In keeping with Ruth?s wishes there will be no calling hours. A graveside service at Fort Plain Cemetery will be held later in the spring at the convenience of the family. The family is being cared for by the Enea Family Funeral Home, 9 Center St., St. Johnsville.
