LITTLE FALLS – Mrs. Rose M. Zilkowski, age 100, a lifelong resident of Little Falls, passed away on Tuesday morning, August 15, 2023, at Alpine Rehabilitation, in Little Falls.
She was born on July 2, 1923, in Little Falls, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Masle) Sestir and attended St. Mary’s Academy. She worked for over 30 years at the Thruway Restaurant, was a member of the Holy Family Parish and at one time, the Rock City Seniors.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Judy Zilkowski and Gary and Beverly Zilkowski; four grandchildren; 9 great- grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Gail; a grandson, John Gary; brothers, Frank and Joseph; and sisters, Marie, Frances and Vera.
Interment will be private at the family convenience, at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Town of Herkimer.
Rose’s funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Enea, Ciaccia & Applegate Funeral Directors.
