LITTLE FALLS - Mrs. Rose (Mamrosch) Reynolds, passed away on Thursday August 13, 2015 at the Alpine Rehabilitation & Nursing Center and she received very good care there. She lived to the age of 103.
She was born on October 16, 1911 in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania, a daughter to the late Daniel and Ethel (Dzubin) Mamrosch. She was educated in schools there as well as Herkimer, New York, where the family had moved to. She had been a Little Falls resident since 1932. Her marriage to Robert B. Reynolds took place on October 7, 1932 at the Baptist Parsonage in Little Falls. The couple shared in 58 years of marriage. Bob died July 19, 1990. Rose last worked at Little Falls Hospital as a housekeeper. She was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church Herkimer/Little Falls. She was also a member of the Women's Christian Society of Herkimer.
She is survived by her daughter Barbara Wehler of Sylva, North Carolina, her son Robert Reynolds of Center Hill, Florida, a sister, Margaret Denofrio of St. Johnsville, five grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, and a son Rev. Kenneth Reynolds.
Her funeral and burial arrangements have been planned with The Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 West Monroe Street in Little Falls, NY. Funeral Directors Harry J. & Kevin E. Enea (315) 823-2424. A funeral service will be held on Thursday August 20, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home on West Monroe Street. The interment at Rural Park Cemetery in Inghams Mills will follow.
