TOWN OF HERKIMER – Rose H. Mendola, of the Town of Herkimer, entered heaven, on October 6, 2023, in the beautiful surroundings of her daughter’s home.
The daughter of parents, Arthur and Marieanne – Bernadette (Leger) Jodoin, she was born in Quebec, Canada and was the beloved mother to children: Lillian, Rosemarie and Anthony; and widow to Thomas J. She spent many years performing clerical work for the City of New York. Her physical presence will be truly missed, still her character, her smile and most of all her love, will live on in all those who knew her.
The family invites all to join their presence at the Enea Family Funeral Home, at 220 North Washington Street, in Herkimer, New York for calling hours in honor of Rose. The times on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, consist of two sittings, the first from 10:00 a.m., until Noon and the second sitting will take place from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. A very special time will be at 5:00 p.m., at the funeral home chapel, when we will recite the rosary together.
