Rose Hall

Mrs. Rose C. Hall, age 89 of 448 State Rt. 29A, Salisbury Center, died on Saturday August 21, 2004 in St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Utica after a brief illness. She was born on March 14, 1915 in Lyons Falls, the daughter of Edward and Olivne Lamcourt Bouchard and was educated in St. Francis School in Herkimer. Her marriage to Ernest "Busty" Hall took place on May 23, 1936 in St. Francis Church in Herkimer. Mr. Hall predeceased her on Agust 22, 1989. Rose had been employed by the Daniel Green Company in Dolgeville, retiring from there in 1980. She was a faithful member of St. Joseph's Church and a member of the Catholic Women's Club. She will be remembered by her family and friends for her famous "Mexican Sauce" and her garage sales. She also enjoyed reading and cards. She is survived by a son and his wife Michael and Beth Hall of Fernley, Nevada; a sister Viola James of Ilion; a granddaughter Barbara Hall of Anchorage, Alaska; and a great-grandson Keegan Hill. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday, August 24, 2004 at 11 AM at St. Joseph's Church, Dolgeville. Rev. Leo F. Potvin will be the celebrant. Burial will follow in St' Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours are from 6-8 PM on Monday, August 23, 2004 at the Roberts-Buck Funeral Home, 3, Faville Ave., Dolgeville. Memorials may be made to St. Joseph's Church Memorial Fund.
