Rose Congdon

Rose M. Congdon, 66 of 6 Dunkel Street, Dolgeville, passed away on Sunday January 2, 2005. She was born July 13, 1938 in the Town of Ohio, NY the daughter of the late George and Blanche (Dygert) Stanley and was educated and graduated from local area schools. Her marriage to George Congdon took place on October 27, 1972 in Salisbury, NY. Mrs. Congdon was of the Methodist faith. Survivors include her husband of 32 years, George, her daughters; Debra Palmer, Virginia Palmer, Shirley Palmer & Roxanne Palmer all of Illinois, a stepson; Darryl Congdon of West Winfield, and 2 grandchildren; Kyle & Danielle Walrath and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a daughter Christine Palmer and a brother Leo W. "Big Bear" Stanley. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday January 5, 2005 at 11:00 am from the Roberts-Buck Funeral Home, 3 Faville Ave., Dolgeville, NY. Spring interment will be in Curtis Corners Cemetery.
