MOHAWK, NY - Mr. Ronald J. Miller, age 51, of Mohawk, NY passed away on Friday, March 22, 2013 at St. Luke's Healthcare Center, New Hartford.
Ron was born on August 30, 1961 in Herkimer, a son of the late John Miller and Pearl (Garlock) Miller. He received his education in Mohawk schools. He was the owner of Rondee's Pizzeria in Schuyler. He also ran the pizzeria in Mohawk for a time.
Ron especially loved his family and his dogs; he enjoyed gardening, and was a devoted Dallas Cowboy fan.
He leaves behind his loving family: his mother, Pearl; his fiance´ Sharon Kirchoff and her daughter Rebecca DeBlois of Mohawk; brothers, Richard of Mohawk, Stanley and his wife Jackie of Charlton, NY; sisters, Janet Miller and Sandra Fikes of Mohawk, Kathy Manno and her husband Dave of Ilion, and Georgia Willsey, also of Mohawk; and his best friend, Kevin Hurteau of Ilion; along with several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. He also leaves his beloved canine companions, his Chocolate Lab, Bronson, and his Beagle, Kaddie. Ron was predeceased by a son, Ron, Jr.
Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Road (Town of Frankfort), Ilion on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 from 5 pm until 7 pm. His funeral service will be conducted by the Reverend Robert Wollaber at the conclusion of calling hours.
