ROME - Robin L. Jaquish, 59, of Rome, NY, passed away peacefully at home, with her loving son by her side, on Saturday, March 12, 2022.
She was born August 17, 1962, in Herkimer, NY, the daughter of the late Frank and Sharon (Kast) Jaquish. She graduated from Herkimer High school, Class of 1980. She was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a graduate of Nursing from MVCC. She and her daughter became nurses together. She was a fantastic mom and Nana.
She was very proud of her RN degree and worked for many years at the Grand until she was struck with Covid. She was a past counselor and camp nurse for Kamp Kiwanis, a job that she loved and was very dear to her heart. She was the most kind - hearted, free - spirited soul we could ever ask for.
Surviving her are her daughter, Ashley Powers (Doug Piersma); and her sons, William Jones, VI (Jillian) and Derrick Jones, all of Rome. She was blessed with six grandchildren who were her whole heart, Kaydence, Landon, Addyson, Mason, Isabelle and Blake.
She leaves 2 sisters, Janine and Brian Thompson and Rachel & James Harter; an Aunt, Cheryl Kast; a niece, Megan Robertson and family; nephews, Ryan Thompson, Zachary Harter and Dylan Harter; and many dear friends.
She was predeceased by her parents; her son, Thomas Paul Powers; and the love of her life, Jeffrey Crozier.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family, entrusted to Janine Thompson.

Calling hours will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., on Thursday, March 17, 2022, at the Enea & Ciaccia Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Road, Ilion, N.Y. 13357. Spring interment with military honors will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Herkimer.
Robin’s funeral arrangements are entrusted to Funeral Directors, Harry J. Enea, Jr., Kevin E. Enea and Martin L. Ciaccia (315-894-8000).
