ILION - Mr. Robert F. "Bob" Wildey, age 56, a lifelong Mohawk Valley resident, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2020 at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown.
Born on November 28, 1963, Robert was the son of the late Robert Wildey, Sr. and Doris (Smith) Brown-Wildey. He was raised and educated in Utica schools.
Bob was a painter by trade and worked for various companies throughout the area during his career. In his spare time he enjoyed campfires, fishing and spending time with his friends and family. He enjoyed a good drink, a good laugh and could always be depended on to break everyone's chops! He also held an appreciation for Native American artwork.
Bob is survived by his sister, Lori Mashtare of Little Falls; his brother, Owen Brown and wife, Janelle, of Rochester; his niece and nephews, Jerita, Gerald, Joseph and Jushua, and their families; and his close friend and roommate, Sue Perkins of Ilion.
Besides for his parents, Robert was predeceased by one brother, Larry Wildey.
Private visitation will take place on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at the Enea & Ciaccia Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Road, Town of Frankfort, Ilion, NY (315) 894-8000.
