TOWN OF NEW HARTFORD - Mr. Robert E. Sherry, age 80, of Lilliana Lane, passed away peacefully, on Thursday, September 1, 2022, in the privacy and comfort of his home.
Born in Bridgewater, Massachusetts, on October 24, 1941, Bob was the son of the late Edward and Mary (Chiocca) Sherry. He attended Bridgewater School, then Burdett Jr. College, in Boston. He was a banker with the Rome Savings Bank and loved the Boston Red Sox, right to the very end. His daughter, Lori Sherry, survives him.
Bob was a deep - down lover of his cats. He also adamantly deplored any form of animal abuse. So, if you kindly would like to make a donation, please do so in his name to an animal shelter of your choosing.
In keeping with Bob's wishes there will be no formal Funeral Services. His family has entrusted his final journey to the Enea Family Funeral Home, 220 North Washington Street, Herkimer, NY (315) 866-1011, Enea, Ciaccia and Applegate, Funeral Directors.
