FRANKFORT-ILION – Robert L. Perry, age 73, of E. Canal St., Frankfort, formerly of Ilion, passed away, on Sunday, October 9, 2022.

He was born on April 7, 1949, in Herkimer, the son of Stewart L. and Norma I (Shepard) Perry. He attended the Annunciation Catholic School. Bob was a veteran, serving in the U.S. Army. He worked as a Truck Driver with Murray Paving, of Whitesboro and several other local paving companies over the years. In his early years, he attended the Church of the Annunciation.

Surviving family members include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Nathan and Nicole Perry and Robert Perry, of Frankfort; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; his sister-in-law, Sharon Perry, of Ilion; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his parents; his son, Leonard; his brother, Don Perry; his sisters, Mary Rose Trask and Carol Perry; and a dear friend, Patrick “Gomer” Ingraham.

A Celebration of Bob’s Life and Catholic Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 14, 2022, at the Applegate-Day & Enea Family Funeral Home’s larger facility, at 4309 Acme Rd., between Ilion and Frankfort, with Deacon James Bower, officiating. Burial will follow at Cedarville Cemetery, next to his son, Leonard.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 14, 2022, from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m., prior to the Funeral Home Service.
