Robert J. Maricle

LITTLE FALLS - Robert Maricle 52 of Little Falls has started his new amazing journey to meet his Dad.

Robert was born August 20, 1972, in Cortland NY, the son of Allison McLaughlin Maricle and Carlton Maricle, and brother Michael Maricle.

He called Cortland NY, Geneseo NY, Dover DE, Peace River Alberta Canada and Little Falls NY his home.

As a youngster in Delaware, he enjoyed playing statewide competitive soccer with his brother and the coach, his father. Learning to sail and mastering it was a summertime fun time. Next adventure for him was living in Alberta, Canada where he competed in the Peace Winter Games cross country skiing (silver medal). During that time, he and his brother enjoyed downhill skiing in Jasper, the Rocky Mountains. Then came Little Falls, the hometown that he truly called “home”. Many close friends and many memories, half-piping, skiing Royal Mountain, trips to Jerry Garcia concerts, crystal digging, travel to gem shows, climbing, the cave, and the adventures of freedom.

Robert is survived by his mother Allison and his brother Michael. Nieces, Alexis, Kayla and Malia. He was predeceased by his father Carlton Maricle and his infant son Angel.

Allison and Michael want to invite anyone who would like to share memories, listen to memories or comfort Robert’s family on Saturday March 22 from 1:00-3:00, Enea Family Funeral Home, (officiated by Kevin Enea) 24 West Monroe Street, Little Falls.

A request of a written memory is the family preference. There will be a special table area prepared at the funeral home to receive these memories.
