Robert Colson

Robert G. ?Bob? Colson, 77 of St. Johnsville passed away on Tuesday January 25, 2005 at Little Falls Hospital. He was born May 23, 1927 in Amsterdam, NY the son of the late John & Grace (Gillman) Colson, and was a graduate of Amsterdam High School. His marriage to Rose Stortecky took place on May 5, 1951. Mr. Colson was a United States Army veteran. For 40 years, Bob was employed at Niagara Mohawk with his last position as foreman. Mr. Colson was a member of the Emmanuel Espicopal Church in Little Falls. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Rose, a son; Robert E. Colson and wife Arlene of Wallkill, NY 2 daughters; Carol Lynn Hansen and husband James of Morrisville, NY & Patricia Patrick and husband Richard of Dolgeville, a sister; Muriel Cook of Balston Spa, NY 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and several nieces & nephews. He was pre-deceased by a daughter; Eileen Bennett. In keeping with Bob?s wishes funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
