Robert Bussey

Robert W. "Bussey" Bussey, 49, of 245 E. Main St., Frankfort, passed away unexpectedly Friday morning, Dec. 8, 2006, at Faxton-St. Lukes Healthcare, town of New Hartford. Mr. Bussey was born April 27, 1957 in Herkimer, son of the late Harvey B. and Elizabeth (Christman) Bussey. He attended local schools. On October 11, 1985, he was married to Margaret Steacy in the town of Ohio. Mr. Bussey was a veteran, serving with the United States Army. He was last employed as a machinist at Fermer Precision in Cedarville. He was a mamber of the Ilion American Legion Post 920, enjoyed playing the drums and singing Bob Segar songs. He was an avid Knicks fan and loved being with his daughter Erika and grandson Miles. Survivors include his wife Margaret, daughter Erika and grandson Miles, all of Frankfort, his step-sons, Michaill Steacy and his wife Lindsay, and his little buddy Nathan Steacy, his step-grandchildren, Alacha, Reyann and Leandra, his sisters, Barbara Dougherty and her husband John of Deerfield, Sandra Seelman and husband, Richard of Floyd, Lisa Lehman of Utica, and Peggy Tero and her fiancee Ralph Filiciano of Jordanville, brother Dennis Bussey and fiencee Faye Snyder of the town of Ohio, aunts and uncles, including his special Aunt Lee, sisters-in-law, Karen Everson and Janet Broadbent, brother-in-law Jim Steacy, many nieces, nephews and cousins, and his good friends at Crossways and the Ron-da-vous. He was pre-deceased by his parents, mother-in-law Marion Steacy, sister-in-law Marion Aloisio, and nephew Chad Aloisio. Family and friends are invited to Mr. Bussey's funeral service Monday December 11, 2006, commencing at 7:00 PM at the Applegate & Day Funeral Home, 102 West Street, ilion, with Pastor Jack Cogar officiating.
