ILION - Richard D. Mattison, age 65, of E. North St., Ilion, passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2014, at home.
He was born on November 10, 1948, in Ilion, the son of Richard and Mary (Sedakow) Mattison, and attended Ilion High School. At one time, he was employed as a machine operator at Homogeneous Metals in Clayville.
Survivors include three brothers and one sister-in-law, Mark Mattison, of Ilion, Craig and Virginia Mattison, of Ilion, and Gary Mattison, of Whitesboro; his aunt, Julia Ferdula, of Herkimer; his niece, Sandra Ham and her husband, Jasper, of Mohawk; his nephew, Rodney Broadbent and his wife, Barbara, of Little Falls; and several cousins. He was predeceased by his parents.
In keeping with Richard's wishes, there will be no scheduled calling hours or funeral services.
