Richard Johnson

Richard W. Johnson, Jr., 52, of the Town of Minden resident, passed away on Tuesday December 18, 2007 at his home. He was born August 5, 1955 in Phoenix, NY the son of the late Richard W. Johnson, Sr., and Helen (Hovanec) Johnson, and was educated in Syracuse schools. His marriage to Vickie Russ took place on February 22, 1992. Mr. Johnson was a United States Marine veteran. Richard was last employed at Matlow Company, in Syracuse, NY. Survivors include his loving wife of 15 years, Vickie, a son, Adam Johnson of St. Johnsville, a daughter, Mandy Pomatto of St. Johnsville, two sisters, Amy Indick and husband Robert of Central Square, NY, & Mary Goodhue and husband Mike of Grafton, Mass., a granddaughter, Melanie Rose Pomatto, his mother-in-law, Sonya Russ of St. Johnsville and several nieces & nephews. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a memorial service on Sunday December 30, 2007 at 2:00 pm at the House of Bread in St. Johnsville, NY with Reverend Michael Yezierski, pastor officiating. Arrangements are by the Enea Family Funeral Home, 9 Center St., St. Johnsville, NY.
