Mr. Richard G. "Dick" Howe, age 58, of 5 Court Street, Little Falls passed away peacefully at his home on Monday evening, December 2, 2002 surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Howe was born on September 2, 1944 in Little Falls a son of the late Soloman and Grace (Harrod) Howe and received his education in Little Falls Schools. He entered into military service and served our country in the Vietnam War. He was last employed with Remington Arms in Ilion for 25 years of loyal service. Dick was united in Holy Matrimony to the former Mildred Warner on August 3, 1968 in St. Mary's Church, Little Falls, a union of 34 years. He leaves his beloved family including his loving wife Mildred of the home address, his mother, Grace Howe of Little Falls, a daughter Tara Howe of Little Falls, a son, Brad Howe of Little Falls, a sister, JoAnne Beischer and husband William of Ithaca, and a grandson, Nathan Miller of Little Falls and his father David Miller. He also leaves several , nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and inlaws. The family will be receiving relatives and friends in the Enea Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls on Wednesday evening, December 4, 2002 from 5-8 p.m. Dick's funeral service will be conducted on Thursday afternoon, December 5, at 2 p.m. from the Dennison Corners Community Church, Mohawk with the Rev. Robert Andreas, pastor officiating. Friends and relatives are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be held privately at the family's convenience. Kindly consider contributions in honor of Dick to Hospice Care, Inc., or to the Heart Failure Clinic at Bassett Healthcare. Funeral arrangements are in care of The Enea Funeral Home, Little Falls (823-2424).
