Richard Hollum

Mr. Richard "Dickie" Hollum, age 64, of 36 Devendorf Street, Mohawk, passed away on Tuesday afternoon, October 30, 2007 at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Utica. Dickie was born on October 26, 1943 at Herkimer Memorial Hospital, a son of the late Robert and Evelyn (Griffin) Hollum, and had been a lifelong resident of our area. His life revolved around the love and support he received from his extended family at the Herkimer Area Resource Center. His many friends will miss him dearly, and he will be affectionately remembered for his love of ice cream. Dickie also enjoyed spending time at the Gail W. Brown Center in Herkimer. Funeral services will be held on Thursday November 1, 2007 at 11:00 AM at the Graves - Applegate & Day Funeral Home, 48 East Main Street, Mohawk, with Rev. Glen Clark officiating. Interment will follow in the family plot at Mohawk Cemetery. An hour of visiting will be at the funeral home ONE HOUR PRIOR TO THE SERVICE, Thursday morning, from 10 - 11:00 AM
