DOLGEVILLE - Mr. Richard A. "Dick" Jones, age 70 of Van Buren Street Extension, Dolgeville, NY passed away on Tuesday morning June 17, 2014 at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare, Town of New Hartford following a brief illness.
He was born on February 6, 1944 in Little Falls, a son of the late Jesse D. and Inez (Bellinger) Jones. He attended Dolgeville schools and graduated with Dolgeville Central School Class of 1962. He married the former Michelle A. Boyer in 1981 in Dolgeville. Dick worked with the Village of Dolgeville as the head operator of the waste water treatment plant.
He is survived by his wife Michelle; children: Justin Jones, Heidi Parisi, Kim Kilmartin, Bob Jones and Greg Jones and his nephew Jesse Jones. He also has extended family in the area inclusive to cousins and In Laws. He was predeceased by his parents and brother Daniel Jones.
Funeral services will be held on Friday June 20th, 2014 at 11:00 AM at The Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 West Monroe Street Little Falls, NY. Calling hours at the funeral home are on Friday morning prior to the service from 10:30 until 11 AM. Burial will follow in Dolgeville Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Funeral Directors Harry & Kevin Enea 315-823-2424.
