MIDDLEVILLE- Regina H. Fox, 94, of 31 South Main St. passed away on April 27, 2012 at her residence with her loving family at her side.
She was born on April 28, 1917, in Bridgeport CT., daughter of the late Arthur and Beatrice (Osterman) Newman. She was married to Douglas E. Fox. Their loving union lasted 63 years until his passing on February 14, 2003.
Regina was best known as Mike or Mikey, a nickname her father affectionately called her as a child. She was a loving wife and mother who was most happy when she was caring for others and baking. At Christmas, she would bake thousands of cookies for her family and friends. She was also a talented self taught artist, avid reader and loyal New York Yankee fan. She was loved by all who knew her and touched countless lives.
Survivors include her sons: Craig R. Fox and his wife Linda of Middleville and Wayne B. Fox of Ft. Myers, Fl.; her sister Hortense Belvin of Avon, CT; her grandchildren: Nicole & Michael Mandato of Northport, NY; Noelle & John Nuzzi of East Greenbush, NY; Cristy & Bryan Heath of Ft. Myers, Fl.; her greatgrand children Jackson & Devin Nuzzi; Luca Mandato; Addison & Phinneus Heath; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Douglas E. Fox and her grandson Jason Fox.
In keeping with her wishes there are no calling hours.
