FORT PLAIN - Mr. Raymond Wohlgemuth, affectionately known as "Sonny" to friends and family and US Veteran, died suddenly Thursday morning January 8th, 2015 at Albany Medical Center. His passing occurred at the age of 85.
He was born on December 18, 1929 in Canajoharie, NY and worked for many years with White Mop Wringer Company of Fultonville, NY. He is survived by a son Anthony Wohlgemuth of Little Falls, a daughter Loriann Lovelace of Mohawk, a granddaughter Frieda Watkins and her children (great-grandchildren) Isabella Marie Rice and Susannah Grace Rice.
His funeral arrangements are with The Enea Family Funeral Home, 9 Center Street in St. Johnsville, NY under the direction of Harry J. & Kevin E. Enea, Funeral Directors. (518) 568-2300. His family has honored his specific request of no services.
