Peter Maneen

Peter J. Maneen, 50, of E. Orchard St., Frankfort, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2006 in his home. He was born in Ilion on October 4, 1956, son of the late Samuel Maneen and Lucy (Sochacki) Maneen who lives in Illinois. Peter received his education in Frankfort schools and graduated from Frankfort-Schuyler High School. He attended Mohawk Valley Community College. Peter was employed with WKTV as an engineer, a position which he truly enjoyed. He was of the Catholic Faith. Survivors include his beloved family who will dearly miss him; his mother: Lucy Maneen of Bloomington, Illinois; two brothers and sisters in law: Richard Maneen and wife Maggie of Voorhees, NJ and Joseph Maneen and wife Linda of Bloomington, Illinois; many nieces, nephews and cousins. In respecting Peter's wishes there will be no calling hours. Memorial offerings may be made to the Herkimer County Humane Society, envelopes may be obtained from the funeral home. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to a memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m in Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church, Frankfort, on Saturday, February 3, 2007 with the Rev. John Yanas, Jr., pastor, officiating. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Following the Mass, relatives and friends are warmly invited to join the family for fellowship at the Balloon Farm, 128 Cemetery Street, Frankfort, with JoAnne and Theresa Maneen hosting. The Enea Family Funeral Home, Main Street between Frankfort and Ilion, 894-8000, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
