MOHAWK - Mrs. Pauline J. Thibodeau, age 79, of Walnut Street in Mohawk, NY passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare in the town of New Hartford, NY.
She was born on February 5, 1935 in New York City a daughter of the late William and Dorothy (Davis) Rywalt. She graduated from New York City schools. Her marriage to Ray H. Thibodeau took place in 1977 in Canajoharie. The couple have lived in the Mohawk area since 1988. Pauline last worked with Beechnut in Canajoharie as a bubble gum wrapper. Mr. and Mrs. Thibodeau are members of the Mohawk Reformed Church.
Survivors include her husband Ray H. Thibodeau at home; her children: Dorothy Glidewell and husband Guy of Herkimer; Darren Thibodeau and wife Marsha of California; Dawn deFreitas of Massachusets; and David Thibodeau and wife Beverly of Florida; seven grandchildren: Natalie, Thomas, Stephanie, Natalie, Laura, Emilee, and Brennan; along with nieces nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her beloved brother Maurice Bernard "Butch" Eisen on September 12, 2006.
The family would like those wishing to remember Pauline in a special way to consider the American Diabetes Association, 356 N Midler Ave, Syracuse, NY 13206. Envelopes are available at the Enea Family Funeral Home, Acme Road location. Visitation at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Road (Main Street between Ilion and Frankfort, 894-8000) will be on Friday afternoon April 18th from 1 until 2PM. Her funeral will begin at 2PM on Friday April 18th from the chapel of the funeral home with rev. Brian Engle pastor of the Mohawk Reformed Church officiating. The funeral home staff will accompany Pauline to Rose Hills Memorial Park, Putnam Valley, NY where she will be entombed in a mausoleum on Tuesday April 22nd, 2014.
