ILION – Paul K. Freeman, age 81, of Prindle Apts., Ilion, passed away peacefully, on March 1, 2021, at the Abraham House, Rome, NY.
He was born on March 20, 1939, in the Town of Jefferson, NY and graduated from Van Hornesville schools. Paul had been employed as a kitchen worker, at McDonald’s, a radio announcer, in Little Falls, a shoe store clerk and a taxi driver, in the valley and Utica.
Surviving family members include his close friend and companion of 30 years, Carol Kinville, of Ilion; his niece, Patty Smith, of Corning; and several other relatives.
A Celebration of Paul’s Life Service will be held on Thursday, May 27, 2021, at 4:30 p.m., at the Applegate-Day & Enea Family Funeral Home’s larger location, at 4309 Acme Rd. (old Main St.), Ilion (Town of Frankfort). Visitation will be held, Thursday, 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., prior to the service at the funeral home.
