JORDANVILLE - Patrick Nicholas Peko, 24, of Jordanville, New York, tragically passed away on November 3, 2024, in Brooklyn, New York.

Patrick was born on May 20, 2000, to Marian and Maria Peko, in Cooperstown, New York. After Patrick graduated from Notre Dame High School in 2018, he went on to study Cybersecurity, at Marist College.

After graduating with a degree in Cybersecurity, he started his career at IBM as a Cybersecurity Architect. Patrick was known for being incredibly passionate about his work and greatly excelled in his short time at IBM, working with various offices throughout the country. He made friends and earned the respect of so many of his peers and was excited to continue growing his career.

When he wasn’t working, Patrick loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed traveling, being outdoors – hiking and exploring new trails, fishing, golfing, going to concerts, playing soccer, running, skiing, cooking, learning new things every day and exploring new cities. Patrick was a giving, caring and selfless soul. He brought immeasurable joy and light into every life he touched with his kind heart, radiant smile and loving energy.

Patrick is survived by his parents, Maria and Marian Peko; his sister, Dominika Peko; his grandmothers, Pavlina and Eva; as well as extended family, friends, mentors and coworkers he touched during his short life, who loved him dearly and helped him become the person he was.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Holy Trinity Monastery, at 1407 Robinson Rd., Jordanville, New York, 13361, on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 1:00 p.m.

Arrangements have been made with the Enea & Ciaccia Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Road, Ilion, New York 13357.
