ST. JOHNSVILLE – Nicholas M. Mroz, 34, of Clay Hill Road, St. Johnsville, passed away October 1, 2023, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born March 8, 1989, in Little Falls, New York, a son to Sherri Mroz and Daniel Hopkins. He enjoyed Golfing and NFL football, his favorite team being the Bronco’s. He Graduated from Mohawk High School, in 2009 with great sportsmanship in Wrestling/state championship and also Football section B championship, in Herkimer. He worked at AGI for the last 5 years. He will be loved and missed by so many.
He was predeceased by Joseph Mroz, grandfather; and Kenny Treen, Uncle.
He is survived by, Sherri Mroz, mother; and Michael Mroz, brother. Nicholas lived in Saint Johnsville with his soon to be wife Adrienne Arduini. His very special niece Nevaeh Mroz.. Three very special children he holds forever in his heart, Kevin Smith, Jr., Katelynn Smith and Kasey Smith . He also leaves behind, Daniel and Joan Hopkins, father and stepmother; Zach Hopkins, brother; Vanessa Ray Hopkins, sister; Robert and Norma Forbes, grandparents; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Also, he leaves his lifetime best friend David Doolen; co-workers/friends, Sabastian Torres and Brandon Olmstead; and many more.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, October 6, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the Enea & Ciaccia Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Road, Ilion, NY. Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., at Armory Hill Cemetery, Ilion. All are invited to calling hours and the Cemetery Service the following day.
Funeral arrangements for Nicholas have been entrusted to Enea, Ciaccia & Applegate Funeral Directors.
