Nancy Raffle

Mrs. Nancy M. Raffle, age 65, of 417 First Ave., Ext., Frankfort, passed away on Wednesday afternoon, February 18, 2004 peacefully in her home with her beloved family at her bedside. She was born in St. Johnsville on April 29, 1938, a daughter of the late Guiseppe and Ausilia (Palladine) Terricola and was a graduate of St. Johnsville High School. She attended the Utica School of Commerce and was a certified nursing assistant. On November 29, 1969, she was united in marriage with Walter R. Raffle in St. Patrick's Church, St. Johnsville. Her last professional association was with the Mohawk Valley Nursing Home in Ilion where she was a ward clerk. Deeply devoted to religion, she was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church, Frankfort and was a member of the church choir. She leaves her beloved husband, Walter at home, a son Robert J. Raffle of Ilion, a daughter Rae Marie Raffle-Maxson and husband Jeffrey of Ilion, two brothers, Carl Terricola and wife Darlene of St. Johnsville and Roland Terricola of Ilion, a sister Vincenza Terricola of Ilion, a grandson, David Richard Maxson, many nieces, nephews and cousins. She also leaves many special friends and neighbors. Calling hours at the Enea Family Funeral Home, Main Street between Frankfort and Ilion, will be held on Friday, Feb. 20, 2004 from 4-8 p.m. Her funeral will commence at 10:15 am on Saturday morning in the chapel of the Enea Family Funeral Home and at 11 am from Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church, Frankfort with the Rev. John Yanas, Jr., officiating. Interment will be held at the family's convenience.
