Mrs. Nancy M. (Ingro) Decker, age 99, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2023.
Born in Ilion on February 18, 1924, Nancy was the daughter of the late Paul and Theresa Ingro.
She had four siblings who preceded her in death, Cessaro Ingro, Sam Ingro, Mary Winslow and Mayme Franco.
Nancy was married to the late Robert W. Moody in 1942, with whom she was blessed with four children. She later married the late Bruce Decker and together they had one daughter.
Nancy moved from Ilion,NY to Ormond Beach, FL in 1971 where she worked for the Volusia County School System and Mario's Restaurant. She owned and operated a ceramic studio in Ormond Beach. She loved to cook and played tennis well into her 70s.
Nancy was predeceased by her children, John Moody, Robert W. Moody, Jr., Linda Moody and Marilyn Decker.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Burch, of Holly Hill, Florida; her daughter in-law, Joanne Moody; 6 grandchildren - Barbara Moody Adler and her husband Larry, Patricia Burch McDonnell and her husband Colm, Michael Burch, Jay Moody and fiancé Annie, Anthony Bonventre, and Heather Johnson; 4 great grandchildren, Kristin and her husband Carl, Brooke, Elliot, Lauren, Ross; and 1 great-great-grandchild - Olivia.
A visitation for Nancy was held at the Pinello Funeral Home in Daytona Beach, Florida.
Spring interment will take place in St. Agnes Cemetery, Ilion, where Nancy will be laid to rest with her children. Local arrangements have been entrusted to the Enea, Ciaccia & Applegate Funeral Directors.
