Nancy M. Eckardt

FRANKFORT – In Loving Memory: Nancy M. Eckardt, 83, of East Avenue, Frankfort, NY, passed away unexpectedly, in her home, on November 22, 2023. She was born, on March 6, 1940, in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late John and Grace (DeJoseph) Dulka.


Surviving family members include, Grace Ann McGill (daughter), Kimberly Johansson (daughter), grandchildren: Victor Fuentes, Jr. (grandson), Jade McGill (granddaughter), Carissa Fuentes (granddaughter), who was Nancy’s only God child, Lisa Fuentes (granddaughter), John McGill Jr. (grandson) and Andrew Fuentes (grandson), who was a loving care taker in her final years, whom she adored. Also, great-grandchildren: Brooke, Arielle, Mia, Gabriel and Cerise.


Nancy was predeceased by her son, Torleif “TJ” Johansson. Nancy was devastated by the loss of TJ. She wanted nothing more than to be with him. Her family finds comfort in knowing they are together once again.


Life wasn’t always easy for Nancy. She overcame many obstacles in life, but the one thing that ALWAYS brought her joy and gave her purpose, was caring for her children and later on grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her family will cherish their memories of their mother, grandmother, Mema.


A Memorial Service will be held, on Monday, December 4, 2023, at the Enea & Ciaccia Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Road, in Ilion, New York. A calling hour will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and the Memorial Service, at 4:00 pm. All are invited to attend.
