Nancy T. (Callahan) Dobbins, of 223 E. Main St., a lifelong Frankfort resident, passed away on Wednesday evening, Sept. 29, 2004, with her loved ones at her side. She was born on July 21, 1939 in Frankfort, the daughter of the late James W. and Adria L. (Perrin) Callahan. Nancy was educated in Frankfort schools. She was last employed as a senior accounts receivable clerk for Chicago Pneumatic, retiring in 1997. She also cleaned houses in Frankfort. Nancy was a communicant and longtime parishioner of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church in Frankfort. She enjoyed traveling and watching movies as well as gardening. Survivors include three nieces and nephews including Deborah A. White of Westmoreland, Mary Patricia D'Amore and husband Larry of Rome, and James Pozniak and wife Nancy of Blossvale, NY, several great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one sister Joyce M. Pozniak on March 1, 2003. Relatives and friends are invited to visitation at the Enea Family Funeral Home, Main Street between Frankfort and Ilion, (894-8000) on Friday, Oct. 1, 2004 from 5-8 p.m. Her funeral will be held on Saturday morning at 10:00 am in Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church, Frankfort St., Frankfort, where the Rev. John Yanas, Jr. will celebrate her Mass of Christian Burial. Procession will follow to Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Frankfort where interment will be held. Kindly consider contributions in her memory to the Faxton Hospital Cancer Unit or Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church. The Family would like to thank Hospice of Oneida County for the special and devoted care that the nurses gave to Nancy and her family.
